Congratulations to four local cricketers who have all been selected to play for the region in the  North East Wales teams.  All four play regularly for Pontblyddyn Cricket Club.

Morgan Roberts and Siôn Thomas, both of Ysgol Terrig, are playing for the Under 11 boys team.

Megan Roberts, Ysgol Maes Garmon, and Sammi Short, Ysgol Parc Y Llan, play for the Under 13 North East Wales girls team.  Sammi also plays in the Under 11 girls team.

Last weekend the boys played and won a regional match against Eryri (Snowdonia) and the girls played and won against West  Glamorgan.

Megan & Sammi are also travelling down to Cardiff to play matches against Gwent and Cardiff & Vale.
