Talented Local young people took part and have been  highly successful in the National Urdd Eisteddfod!

The particular successes that have been noted were:

First place for the Castell Alun Jazz band which includes Ben Thomas, Bethan Griffiths and  Lucy Hughes from Treuddyn.

Success for Bethan Griffiths also came with third place on harp and second on piano! Unawd Telyn Bl 10 a dan 19 oed  Unawd Piano Bl 10 a dan 19 oed

Jack Holl came third in recitation
