Library Services

Flintshire is served by two mobile libraries covering the north and south of the county. They provide fortnightly access to Flintshire library stock for small communities that do not have a branch library.

Anyone is welcome to join the library service – membership is free. You will need to complete a simple form and show some form of identification. Children of any age may join, they will need to ask a parent or guardian to complete a membership form. There is a wheelchair lift on each vehicle.

The mobile libraries carry a selection of novels, information, large print and children’s books. Items may be requested for a small fee. The mobile library stops in Treuddyn every 3 weeks on a Tuesday afternoon at Ffordd Y Rhos. It is there from 2:00pm until 3:45pm.
