We extend our sincere sympathy to Mrs Iris Roberts and family in their sad loss of a husband, father and grandfather. The funeral of Les Roberts took place at Ebeneser Chapel on Wednesday, August 21st under the care of the Rev. Marc Morgan with Mrs Margaret Roberts at the organ.

We also extend our deepest sympathy to Mrs Jane Ann Roberts on the loss of her husband Norman Jackson Roberts. The service of remembrance was held at Ebeneser Chapel on Tuesday, August 27th under the care of our minister the Rev. Eirlys Gruffydd Evans along with the Rev. Huw Powell Davies with Mrs Margaret Roberts at the organ. Our sympathy is extended to all the family in their sad loss.

Our annual Afternoon Tea will be held at Hafan Deg on Saturday, September 7th at 3.00p.m. We look forward to seeing and meeting friends, old and new, at this fundraising event.

The following Sunday, September 8th, at 6.00p.m. the Rev. Dr. Siôn Aled Owen, Wrexham, will be the guest preacher at our Preaching Meeting service. On Sunday, September 22nd, at 6.00p.m. we will be at Bethel Chapel, Rhiw Iâl, Llanarmon yn Iâl, for the annual joint Cymanfa Ganu when Mrs Janet Evans, Flint, will be in charge of the singing.

Our Harvest Thanksgiving service will be held on Sunday, October 13th, at 6.00p.m. when the Rev. Marc Morgan will be officiating.

Once again, we look forward to welcoming the Rev. Dr. Jennie Hurd, Chair of Synod Cymru, on Sunday 8th, December at 6.00p.m. This will be a united meeting and a warm welcome is extended. On Sunday, December 22nd, at 2.30p.m., we will be holding our annual bilingual Carol service. We extend a very warm welcome to all to join us at this special service.

We send our warmest wishes to all who are not currently in the best of health and wish you all a speedy recovery.
