I have received a request for information from Errol Chandler

“I was wondering if anybody  knows who these two men are.

The picture with the motorcycle: (I am told) it  is of  John Jones (Dr. John)  who many decades ago was postmaster and dentist (medical man) at Pontybodkin, and a brother of his.

The other picture (I am told) is of John and his family. It is hard to date these. The men look about 40 years old, possibly younger. John was born in 1839 and died in 1921, so if the man is him the picture it must date from about 1880.

Would anybody be able to identify the subjects, or date the clothing worn… or even  the motorcycle? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
