Treuddyn Community Hall

Treuddyn Community Hall

The 2010 Treuddyn Festival  will take place on Saturday July 10th 1.00 pm until late.

We are still at the planning stage but we expect to offer many of the activities that were such a success last year – all day music, and spoken word, bouncy castles and candy floss, burgers afternoon teas and a bar, marching bands, competitions and various stalls.  The popular Haley Sisters will make a return visit to Treuddyn to provide the evening entertainment.

This year we hope to have some additional attractions. To help to celebrate the year of Biodiversity the Countryside Group will be holding various workshops and some stars of the show will be the Birds of Prey in an exhibition put on for us by Hawksdrift Falconry Builth Wells.

This year we have our own new Marquee bought for us by the Aggregates Levy Sustainability fund.  Cadwyn Clwyd are supporting us again and with their help we will borrow 2 additional marquees – so whatever the weather it should be a fantastic event.

As well as being an excellent community activity to celebrate diversity, friendship and community of Treuddyn, the Festival is an essential fund raising event to keep our village hall running and so that we are able to continue renting it out for community groups and activities at a charge of only £5 per hour.
