The scheme will consist of 41 homes, 18 of which will be classed as ‘affordable’ housing.
This land has been earmarked for development for many years as part of the Flintshire County Council UDP. Treuddyn Community Council has worked closely with the developers and Flintshire CC to ensure that the proposed development has the best long term interests of the village taken into consideration – for example Welsh Water have agreed to upgrade the sewage treatment plant and the extension to the cemetry has been formalised and will be constructed during the development phase.
Pennaf site plan – version C shows the current design being discussed. Once you open the plan, you can turn it to view more easily by using the ‘rotate clockwise’ button (immediately to the right of the image size field – it looks like 2 pieces of paper).
As part of the scheme there is provision to allocate land to Treuddyn Community Council to be retained as ‘green’ space.
Several families have already expressed interest in the homes and you can find out more about the allocation policy here in the Pennaf tenure information.
If anyone local is interested in the scheme please contact Pennaf for a housepack on 0800 183 5757 or contact Cllr. Carolyn Thomas who may be able to help with general information about the development.
